Generally, spices are the most important aspect of food while cooking, it brings out the sweet aroma that makes everyone want to anticipate the food. In Nigeria, there are only two common spices that everyone knows which are Curry and Thyme, Every Nigerian cook using these spices because they believe it will bring out the aroma which is true and it works perfectly. For example, my mom only makes use of Curry and sometimes Thymes or malasa that contain ginger, garlic, curry, and thyme. Every Nigerian woman has their own spice that suits their taste and they know what is good for their food. Although Spice is not all about the aroma or the nice taste.

Spice is a seed, plant, seed, or plant that is used to color food or preserving food. Spice is different from herbs which are leaves or flower use for garnishing. Different cultures uses different set of spices to give their dishes taste and flavor, also these spice can be in different form like powder form,nut,leaf or tuber.
