FOOD THAT STRESS YOU OUT AFTER COOKING


Nobody wants to be stress at all but we all go through pressure everyday of our life in anything we do even in cooking.People thinks that cooking is easy that we can always find our way around it and which is not suppose to be so.

Cooking is another platform on its own which can exhaust you and take your time, it requires time and dedication while doing it because mistake can be made which might destroy the whole process.Everybody have their own unique way of how they cook and how they can maximize their time while cooking.


SOME FOODS THAT STRESS YOU OUT.

BEANS-Everybody knows beans to be stressful from separating the beans from the small small dirty.Cooking beans requires a lot of time and this can not be funny especially some beans which will take an hour before it comes soft.Beans can be prepared in different ways like moi-moi, Akara, Ewa agoyin and many more.






SWALLOWS(Eba, amala, pounded yam, Semovita)-Swallows such as pounded yam or amala requires a lot of stamina from the body and this can lead to stress.People find it difficult to prepare these meals because it will a lot of process and time.There are some cultures that find preparing these meals very easy,such like ogun state people they are known to pound yam very well and they have gotten use to the system.Another example are Igbo people, they prefer eba to any other swallow because it has to do with their culture.





SOUPS(Ewedu,Nsala soup, bitterleaf soup)-This does not take time for some people but for someone like me it drains me out because I’m not a big fan of all these soups.This aspect has to do with culture also, each culture has their soups and how they prepare it. Let talk about the 3 major culture in Nigeria which are Yoruba, Igbo and Hausa.
Yoruba soups are ewedu, okro, Efo riro.
Igbo soups are Ogbonno, Nsala soap, bitterleaf soup.
Hausa soups are Miyan Gyada, Peanut soup.

These soups are very easy to prepare but the various ingredients attached to it makes it very stressful for us.






COLESTRAW-Colestraw also known as Salad, this one has to do with cutting various types of veggies.Cutting is an aspect in cooking which most people are not good at, not everyone can dice an onions properly.The cutting of veggies such carrots, cabbage, lettuce and cucumber can make someone to back out.








RICE(That requires a lot of ingredients)-Everyone enjoy eating well prepared rice like jollof rice, fried rice or coconut rice but not everyone want to go through the stress.Rice that requires a lot of ingredients can be very stressful especially when it comes with a special occasion.





I noticed that everyone has each food that stresses them out but no matter what we will always find our way around it.
