WHAT IS FOOD ADDICTION?
There are so many people that suffer from food addiction or addictive-like eating behavior.Food addiction involves being addicted to food in the same way drug addicts are addicted to drugs.
It involves the same area in the brain, the same neurotransmitters and many of the symptoms are identical.People who have food addition are unable to control their consumption of certain foods.
HOW FOOD ADDICTION AFFECTS THE BRAIN.
However, people don't just get addicted to any food. Some foods are much more likely to cause symptoms of addiction than others. Processed junk foods have a powerful effect on the "reward" centres of the brain, involving brain neurotransmitters like dopamine.
The foods that seem to be most problematic include typical "junk foods," as well as foods that contain either sugar or wheat or both.
Food addiction is not about lack of willpower, or anything like that, it is caused by the intense dopamine signal "hijacking" the biochemistry of the brain.
Everyone is definitely addicted to one thing or another. Addiction comes in different approach like been addicted to someone, puppies, snacks and many more.
People who have food addiction are people with obesity and they can't seem to control their consumption of the particular food.The reason behind the addiction of food is the fat or sugar inside the food.
Food addiction can cause some serious problem like food cravings, high amount of calories and blood sugar imbalances.

•Pizza
•Non-diet soda
•Cheese
•Pizza
•Chips
•Fried Chicken
•Cookies
•Buttered popcorn
•Cereals
•Gummy Candy
•French fries
•Muffins
•Bacons
•Steak
I don't recommend completely eliminating the foods that you love but definitely have them in moderation.
Restricting foods can lead to binging later on.
What I find works for me is... Rather than buying a big pack of chips.. I would buy a multi pack with portion size packets. As I know I just won't stop at a handful.
Just remember it's taking baby steps everyday in making good choices that will become a habit and form into a lifestyle change.
